Dual study program at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Plastics Technology
In the dual engineering degree program, you study within the framework of a cooperation agreement with a company. During the lecture period, you attend the courses of your degree program at the university. You will also work in your contract company during the practical phases. Of course, recreational leave is also part of your annual planning. The MK faculty already cooperates with numerous partners in this way.
This type of course is aimed at prospective students who are looking for a link to industrial practice right at the start of their training. Many employers support such projects. Some companies also see this study model as a way of recruiting promising personalities at an early stage.
Students are expected to achieve a high level of coordination to combine practice and study at a very early stage. The workload is therefore considerably greater than with a "normal" degree course.
