FGK

The FGK is a strong and motivating research organization that concentrates on practice-oriented plastics research. Its focus is on construction materials and plastics with specific functionalities. As a member of the renowned German Federation of Industrial Research Associations "Otto von Guericke" e.V. (AiF), the FGK promotes the exchange between industry and research institutions and is committed to funding programs of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.

Network formation and maintenance along the entire value chain in the plastics industry are the core activities of the FGK. From raw material manufacturers and plastics machinery manufacturers to plastics processors and users, the FGK works to promote innovation and build research and development alliances. This is mainly done through industry working groups that meet regularly on specific topics and thus make a powerful and motivating contribution to plastics research.
