IKD member Professor Dr. Martin Moneke was invited to become a member of the editorial board of the international open access plastics journal "Polymers"(https://www.mdpi.com/journal/polymers). This board has the task of reviewing scientific publications by professional colleagues for this generally accessible journal. We congratulate Prof. Moneke on this honor and wish him stimulating inspiration from this activity.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Moneke is a member of the Institute of Polymer Technology and spokesperson for the Materials and Process Engineering Research Center at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. He holds the professorship for Materials Engineering Plastics, Testing of Plastics and Quality Management and heads the AWP working group for materials testing. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Moneke's research focuses in particular on testing and modeling mechanical properties as well as scratch testing. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Moneke is a DGQ-certified quality manager and EOQ Quality Manager.
