The 15th Darmstadt Plastics Day also saw the ceremonial handover of the new PX160 injection molding machine from KraussMaffei. Mr. Manuel von Varchmin, Sales Manager of KraussMaffei, officially handed over the injection moulding machine to the Institute of Polymer Technology Darmstadt ikd represented by Prof. Dr. Thomas Schröder. The high quality of practical training for students can only be guaranteed with modern machinery. KraussMaffei has made a significant contribution to this with the installation of these all-electric injection molding machines.

ARKEMA SE donates 5000 euros on behalf of Simona AG

At the "Arkema Design Lab" stand at K 2016, the management of the Technical Polymers business unit presented SIMONA AG and HP Inc. with two "Innovation Awards". For each of the two winners, a cash prize was also awarded to the university program of choice. This year, the cash donation of 5000 euros went to Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

The award was presented at a ceremony hosted by ARKEMA SE during the K 2016 plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf on October 24, 2016.
