Working group for plastics technology and plastics processing

The Working Group for Plastics Processing (AKV) sees itself as your service partner when it comes to
problems in plastics processing. Our technical center at the Institute for Plastics Technology in Darmstadt has numerous facilities that enable us to offer extensive
services and seminars in plastics processing.

The AKV's tasks include the development and research of experimental test methods in plastics processing. This includes, for example, the investigation of new processes or methods that are used in the injection molding process. We also offer a comprehensive range of services for polymer development and analysis in cooperation with our working group for materials testing (AWP). As a complete solution, we can, for example, produce your samples or demonstrators and then carry out optical, thermal and mechanical tests.

In addition, with our seminars in materials testing and injection molding, we offer comprehensive
further training opportunities, which we can tailor to the main topics or wishes of the participating companies depending on the number of participants. To get an overview of our services, please take a look at our service catalog. As research and development in plastics processing is rarely limited, simply contact us during your development phase and we will gladly take the time to support you independently and discreetly.
