Main topics
Product properties and requirements
The basis for efficient development is a detailed requirements profile that has to deal with many technical details in addition to economic aspects. These must be defined, developed and validated. The IKuP can provide technical support, particularly in the fields of acoustics, durability, lightweight construction, hybrid lightweight construction and vehicle and body technology.
Development methods
We are faced with the challenging task of developing innovative and sustainable products in the face of global competition. This requires a highly efficient, interdisciplinary, networked approach to development, taking costs into account over the entire product life cycle. Modern, future-oriented development environments with the integrated solutions of "Computer Aided Design" (CAD) and "Computer Aided Engineering" (CAE) offer computer-aided development methods based on digital models. Virtual product development makes it possible to successfully master the challenges of the future. We are happy to support you with our interdisciplinary know-how in the use of virtual, computer-aided technologies (e.g. CAD, FEM, rapid prototyping) and also offer you innovative training and further education measures.
Construction
The successful processing of design tasks in product development, where time is usually tight in practice, requires structured and systematic design work. A targeted approach to the increasing demand for increased performance, lightweight construction, vibration and acoustic requirements leads to resilient and optimized solutions and ensures competitive success.
We are happy to support you in the important phases of design engineering: clarifying the task, deriving a list of requirements and searching for solution principles.
Experiment, validation and realization
We can also advise and support you in these areas:
- Development of suitable test methods and support in the design of test setups,
- Advice on and performance of tests on high-strength bolted joints,
- Advice on connection technology issues,
- Simple sound and vibration measurements for acoustic analysis,
- Measurement and diagnostic technology on machines and vehicles
