This year, the Technomer symposium was particularly well received by IKD. With 17 participants, 14 poster contributions and a specialist lecture, the institute demonstrated Hessian research presence in Chemnitz.

The research-friendly Darmstadt team led by Professors Moneke, Müller-Roosen, Schröder, Weinlein and Wieser presented information about current research projects at the Institute of Polymer Technology on their posters. In addition, Mr. Philipp Seeger gave the conference participants a deeper insight into his field of research with his presentation "Investigation of the scratch behaviour of thermoplastic polymer materials".
