Compulsory elective modules must be offered to such an extent that there is sufficient choice in terms of number and content; however, the faculties are not obliged to make the entire range contained in the catalogs available on a regular basis. The faculty council can adapt the catalogs of compulsory electives if necessary; a module description must be prepared for newly offered compulsory elective modules or sub-modules. The Examination Board may also recognize additional modules as compulsory elective modules or sub-modules on request in individual cases. Individual courses from the catalogs may be offered in English. This will be announced at the beginning of each semester.
