Career history
Professor of Transportation at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2017.
Studied civil engineering, after completing his doctorate in traffic engineering at TU Darmstadt, he spent a year as a postdoc at the University of Tokyo, Advanced Mobility Research Center, and at Nagoya University. From 2011-2017 employee at the Institute of Transport Research of the German Aerospace Center (DLR ) in Berlin in the Department of Commercial Transport, Group Leader Modeling of Commercial Transport. Research on the evaluation of measures to increase the sustainability of commercial transport and ICT in transport (Intelligent Transport Systems).
Member of various national and international expert committees in the transportation sector(FGSV, WCTRS).
