Faculty Council
The Faculty Council discusses matters of fundamental importance to the faculty. Among other things, it is responsible for
- Issuing examination regulations and study regulations,
- Proposals for the establishment and discontinuation of degree programs,
- coordinating research projects,
- determining the structure plan,
- commenting on the department's target agreements with the Presidential Board,
- Decision on the appointment proposal of the appointment committee,
- Proposals for the establishment and abolition of scientific and technical facilities,
- Deciding on the establishment and abolition of working groups and committees,
- regulating the use of departmental facilities within the framework of the user regulations.
At a university of applied sciences, the faculty council consists of six members of the professorial staff, one academic staff member and four students. The members of the Dean's Office have an advisory vote on the Faculty Council.
